Christmas in Bonn Christmas tree has already been put up in the city center
Bonn · A Christmas tree was set up in Bonn city center on the Marktplatz on Thursday. Christmas trees have also been erected on other city squares or will be delivered there in the next few days.
It already looks very much like Christmas in the city center of Bonn, although there are still some days until the first of Advent. On Thursday the city had a big fir tree erected in front of the old town hall with the help of a crane. Decorated with a chain of lights, it will bring a warm atmosphere to the Marktplatz in the coming weeks.
Not only there, but also in other centrally located places in the city, the City Parks Department is once again ensuring a wonderful Christmas spirit by providing large Christmas trees this year. The Stadtwerke, which is the municipal utilities company, is once again sponsoring the electricity for the lighting. The Christmas trees have also been installed on Münsterplatz and Rathausplatz in Beuel.
The Christmas trees on Rochusplatz in Duisdorf and Moltkeplatz in Bad Godesberg will be put up next Wednesday. All trees have been brought here from the Sauerland.
The Bonn Christmas Market in the city center will open on November 22.
