Police call for witnesses 12-year-old molested at playground in Bad Godesberg

BAD GODESBERG · The Bonn police are looking for a man who molested a 12-year-old at a playground in Bad Godesberg on Thursday afternoon.

An unknown culprit molested a boy around 5.45pm on Thursday at the playground at the Viktoria square in Bad Godesberg. According to the police report, the 12-year-old said that he was unexpectedly grabbed from behind by a grown man, and held by the shoulders and arms. The child called loudly for help and managed to free himself from the man’s grip to run to his mother.

The unknown man left the playground on a black racing bike. The man was described as approximately 35 years old and about 1.665 m tall. He is supposed to have black hair, brown eyes and a striking wrinkle on his forehead. The suspect was described as slim, and he is said to have spoken German with an accent, rolling the „R“. Apparently he wore no glasses, didn’t have a beard and appeared as very groomed. His skin was described as slightly darker, and he wore a golden ring on the middle finger of his right hand.

During the time of the crime the man wore a black jumper, dark blue jeans with a brown belt and brown shoes.

The police are asking for witnesses to come forward - please contact 0228/150 in case you might have any information in connection with the crime.
