Two men are accused of robbing a 52-year-old man at the underground station “Universität/Markt” in Bonn city. The incident happened at 1am on Monday morning. Police reported that the man had been sitting on the platform, where the track runs in the direction of Bad Godesberg.

Two men approached him, apparently having come from the direction of Kaiserplatz. One of them held a knife in his hand. The suspects demanded that the man hand over his backpack, wallet and cell phone. The 52-year-old handed over the items and the two men fled towards Kaiserplatz.

The 52-year-old, who remained unhurt, reported the crime to police the next morning. The suspect who held the knife in his hand is thought to be around 24-years-old and around 1.75 meters tall. He has a slim, athletic build, short black hair and was dressed in blue jeans and a brown leather jacket.
