Two years ago, a 39-year-old taxi driver was put on the dock for rape. On 22 September 2017 he was ordered by the taxi headquarters to Kessenich to pick up a "lady with dog". It seemed to be a cheerful trip, because the customer was "a petite woman, well drunk, but funny and cheerful, who immediately spoke of sex", the accused said on Tuesday. The accusation accuses the four-time father of threatening the woman to "flatten" her little dog if she doesn't do what he wants.

She then had to buy condoms in a supermarket before the taxi drove to the parking lot at the Römerbad, where he allegedly forced her to have oral sex. Then the man is said to have driven the woman home, where her husband took her - dissolved in tears - in. The 54-year-old immediately called the police.Evidence was secured at his wife's house. Two per thousand alcohol was found in her blood. The taxi driver was found and questioned that very night.

Defendant admits lying to police

He lied to the police, he confessed on the first day of the trial. At the time, he had denied that there had been any sex in the car. He lied out of fear of losing his job as a taxi driver. "But there was no rape that evening," he reaffirmed, and had his version presented by his defense attorney: In fact, the customer, who had generously reported on her sexual experiences during the entire trip, had turned him on directly.

At Höhe Museum Koenig she suddenly said that she wanted to have sex with him. Torn between a bad conscience towards his wife and sexual arousal, he said yes. "Wow, that's a jackpot," she replied and winked at him. But he had one condition: He would only do it with a condom. But because he was ashamed to go to the supermarket, he sent the woman. His guilty conscience, however, rose, he continued in his statement.

Taxi driver lost passenger transport ticket

When the 50-year-old immediately seized him in the parking lot, the excitement had gone and he had stopped it. That had made the lady very angry. He couldn't treat her that way, she is said to have said. Then she insisted on going home on foot and paid 18 euros for the trip. But then she wanted to be driven to the front door.

Which he did. Since that night, the 39-year-old has not been driving a taxi, and he has lost his passenger transport licence because of the serious accusations. He is now trying to keep his family financially afloat with a mini job. On the next day of the trial, the 50-year-old is to be heard - in camera.
