“Panama Open Air” in the Rheinaue Bonn gets a new musical festival

Bonn · Young event organizers Jan Hoffman and Sandro Heinemann from RheinEvents never get tired of coming up with new events. Together with two partners, they have created a two-day festival called “Panama Open Air” to take place on the Rhineaue.

The “Panama Open Air” to take place on the Rhineaue (area near the Rhine river) on July 29 and 30 this year. It will be a mecca for Electric music fans.

The festival has evolved from a one-day event which previously took place before “Rhine in Flammen” in May. Last year they had 20,000 people rocking in front of the stage. They changed the date to end of July to increase chances of better weather. Making it 2 days long instead of one means they create an event that stands on its own and they can bring in more artists.

Dirk Dotsch, who runs the Parkrestaurant Rheinaue and is the licensee of events in the Rheinaue, said “Finally there is a super offer, especially for young people. I am very enthusiastic and I know it will be a huge success.” The festival is unique in its concept, and the meadows surrounding the stage will be fenced in for the concerts. Spectacular LED backdrops will enhance the stage, including a large butterfly.

Ticket sales have already begun, and those who buy early get a price of 34,90 Euro for 2 days and 19,90 Euros for one day. They can be bought at panama-openair.de or at bonnticket.de advance ticket sales
