Police are investigating Bonn woman attacked during robbery in her apartment

Bonn · A woman was attacked and tied up in her apartment during a robbery in Bonn’s Nordstadt. Police are searching for the two perpetrators, who escaped, and are asking for information.

Two currently unidentified men have tied up and robbed a woman in her apartment in Bonn’s Nordstadt. Police said on Monday morning that the 39-year-old was alone in her apartment in Hochstadenring at around 3.30pm on Friday afternoon when two masked men dressed in dark clothing came into her apartment and attacked the woman. It is still unclear how the men got in.

After the 39-year-old had been tied up and intimidated, the perpetrators stole several thousand euros in cash and then left the crime scene undetected. According to investigators, they may have fled in a car.

The woman finally managed to free herself and informed police with the help of a neighbour. The police initiated a search but have so far been unable to identify the perpetrators. One of the men was around 40 years old and 1.70 to 1.75 metres tall. He was bald with a powerful build, a round face and was wearing dark clothing.

Police are looking for witnesses and are asking those with information to call 0228 150.
