Drug find at Cologne Central Station Bonner arrested with 2000 ecstasy tablets

Cologne · A 36-year-old man from Bonn with 2000 ecstasy tablets was arrested at Cologne Central Station. During a check he had frankly asked the federal police to look into his bag.

On Monday evening, the Federal Police arrested a man with a rucksack at Cologne Central Station who was carrying about 2000 ecstasy tablets. According to the police, the 36-year-old man from Bonn was noticed by the officers around 8 pm. During his examination it turned out that the man was already known as a drug user.

He then asserted that he no longer had anything to do with drugs and asked the police to look in his pocket after all. When they opened the backpack, they found two bags containing a large(r) amount of tablets. The police reportedly arrested the man and confiscated the ecstasy tablets. The federal police initiated an investigation into the violation of the Narcotics Law. The suspect was handed over to the criminal police in Cologne.
