Track work in Bonn Buses will replace lines 61, 62 and 65
Bonn · Rail tracks will be renewed this weekend at the Bonn Central Train Station (Hauptbahnhof). This will result in limited tram travel and buses taking detours so passengers should allow more time for travel.
Bonn municipal works will be renewing the tracks at Bonn Central Train Station this weekend. This will result in buses running instead of trams from Friday night beginning at 9pm until Monday morning at 4am. A switch is also being replaced at the southern underpass. Tram line 61 will run in the affected time period according to the regular schedule only between Auerberg and Bonn Central Station. Tram line 65 will run between Oberkassel South / Römlinghoven and LVR clinic in an adapted timetable and replaces line 62, which will not run at all during this time period. Buses will shuttle between the stops "Hauptbahnhof" and "Quirinusplatz".
Also for bus traffic, the southern underpass in the direction of Poppelsdorfer Allee will be completely closed. Affected are lines N2, N3, N5, N6, 600, 601, 602 and 603. The following detours will be in place:
- Lines N6 and 600 in the direction of Ippendorf:
- From Bonn Central Station, buses will run via Herwarthstraße, Bachstraße, Baumschulallee, Bonner Talweg, to the stop "Petrus-Krankenhaus" and continue on the normal route. Travel is not affected in the direction of Graurheindorf.
- Lines N5, 601, 602 and 603 in the direction of Venusberg / Röttgen / Waldau:
- From Bonn Central Station, the buses will run via Herwarthstraße, Bachstraße, Baumschulallee, Meckenheimer Allee to the "Beethovenallee" stop and continue on the normal route. Travel in the direction of Bechlinghoven is not affected.
- Line N3 in the direction of Dottendorf-Bad Godesberg:
- From Bonn Central Station, the line runs via Herwarthstraße, Bachstraße, Baumschulallee, Poppelsdorfer Allee, Prinz-Albert-Straße to the stop "Poppelsdorfer Allee" and continues on the normal route. Travel in the direction of Bonn Central Station is not affected.
- Stops:
- The stop "Poppelsdorfer Allee" in the direction of Röttgen, Venusberg, Waldau and Graurheindorf on the Poppelsdorfer Allee will not be serviced on the last weekend of October. Passengers are recommended to use the stop "Bonn Hauptbahnhof / ZOB". For the stop "Poppelsdorfer Allee" for lines N6 and 600 in the direction of Ippendorf, an additional construction site stop is offered on Baumschulallee where house address number 1 is located.
The departure times of the buses and line 61 at Bonn Central Station will be adjusted and posted at the respective stops.
