Bonn · In the north of Bonn, a car wash is currently being built, in which, in future, around 3000 cars can be cleaned daily. An Essen-based entrepreneur is investing a two-digit million Euro sum in this.
Up to 3,000 vehicles a day can be cleaned in the new car wash in the north of Bonn, probably from the end of the year.
The Essen-based company Mr. Wash is building a large-scale vehicle washing facility on an approximately 5,000 square meter site on the corner of Bornheimer Strasse and Brühler Strasse.
The company is investing a two-digit million euro amount in the construction, but site manager Detlef Bertram did not want to give further details about the finances. Due to the good weather so far, the construction is right on schedule and the shell is growing visibly. "This is our 35th car wash in Germany," Bertram said on Tuesday.
According to him, the car washes will be located on the ground floor. In the basement, a vacuum cleaner system is planned, where drivers can clean the inside of their vehicles themselves. Those who do not have the time or inclination to do so can have the car valeted on the upper floor.
