One present under the Christmas tree on 24 December could be called “Siegfried”. A gin brand from the Rhineland is behind the name. Friends Raphael Vollmar and Gerald Koenen have been distilling their excellent gin in a distillery in Ahrweiler since 2010. The company’s Bonn headquarters transforms into a bar each Thursday. “Siegfried” is popular on the world market and proves that every gin fan would be delighted with a bottle for Christmas.

Those with a beer fan in their family or circle of friends are sure to bring a smile to their face with the Bonn craft beer “Ale Mania”. Fritz Wülfing brews various sorts of beer in Bonn-Pützchen.
