A man's body was pulled from the Rhine River in Bonn on Thursday afternoon after members of the public spotted him in the water. The fire department was called to the Rhine near the Kennedy Bridge at around 4:55pm. A spokesman confirmed the information to GA upon request.

This part of the river shore in Bonn city is called the Erzbergerufer. Members of the fire department donned water rescue suits and went down to the Rhine from a flight of stairs that led to the shore area. They were able to pull the body ashore.
