An emergency ambulance and a tram of line 66 collided in Beuel on Monday afternoon. The 40-year-old driver of the vehicle was slightly injured, according to the police. According to the report, the ambulance was driving towards Beuel with the blue lights and Martinshorn on, when it tried to cross the intersection Sankt Augustiner Straße/Königswinterer Straße at around 12:15 pm. During this, it crashed into the tram heading towards Bonn.

An emergency physician in the passenger seat of the emergency ambulance remained unharmed, as did the driver of the tram and its passengers. The slightly injured 40-year-old man was taken to a hospital for outpatient treatment.

The ambulance was towed away and the tram suffered minor material damage.
