For the first time there is a confirmed case of death due to an infection by the Corona virus in Bonn. The woman in question was born in 1936, according to the city of Bonn. The deceased was thus over 80 years old.
According to the city, the Bonn woman had renounced intensive medical treatment and died on Tuesday from the consequences of the infection.
As of Wednesday, 12 noon, there were 180 confirmed coronavirus cases in Bonn. A member of the Bonn professional fire brigade is also among the infected. Six people are being treated in hospitals, three of them with intensive medical care. 550 people are in quarantine.
On Tuesday, the first deaths from the lung disease Covid-19 were already reported in the Rhein-Sieg district.
