Bonn/Region · The weather on Saturday remains rather uncomfortable, thunderstorms are partly expected. Only on Sunday, fitting for Mother's Day, the sky will clear up and the sun may come through.
After the unpleasant past days, an improvement is in sight from Sunday. But the weather remains unstable and changeable until then. Atlantic low pressure areas continue to ensure that Saturday is cloudy. Rain comes from the southwest and can last until the evening. Heavy rain is also possible. Some individual thunderstorms are expected in the south of NRW, with strong to stormy gusts of up to 70 kilometres per hour. With little sun the temperatures in the region are up to 12 degrees.
However, there is a ray of hope on Sunday. In the night, the rain shouldease and the sun should show up in time for Mother's Day. It is forecast to bring up to twelve sun hours and temperatures up to 15 degrees. Towards evening strong wind comes up again with some strong gusts.
