Bonn · According to Andrea Schulte of the city press office, the white foam carpet on Kaiserplatz in downtown Bonn is presumably the result of a criminal offence.

Unknown persons had probably poured detergent into the well on Wednesday morning. A patrol of the GABI guard turned off the pump to stop the foaming.
The fire brigade, on the other hand, used two steel hoses to spray the approximately 20 centimetre high foam from the sidewalks and traffic lanes into the sewage system.
