German Open in Synchronized Swimming takes place Jan. 29-31 in the Frankenbad. This is a top international event for this sport and has been taking place here for 24 years. The world’s elite synchronized swimmers come to Bonn once a year and present amazing choreography, top athletic performance, making it look beautiful, elegant and easy. Swimmers from 22 countries will compete. Among the competitors are U.S. Olympic hopefuls Anita Alvarez and Mariya Koroleva.

45 minutes of Organ music on Saturday evening with Andre Gold at 6:15 p.m. Venue is the Schlosskirche of the University, Am Hof 1.
Chamber Choir and Orchestra of the University of Bonn present works from Bach at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 11:00 a.m. Sunday. Venue is the Namen-Jesu Church in Bonn at Bonngasse 6.
Chamber Music Festival - for the distant beloved. Works from Schumann, Friday, 7:30 p.m. Works from Beethoven and Schumann, Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Ludwig Mittelhammer (Baritone) and Armida Quartett with works from Janacek and Berg, Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Venue is Beethoven Haus, Chamber music room, Bonngasse 24-26.
A Tribute to legendary British band Genesis, “The Path of Genesis” brought to life by 5 musicians from NRW. Saturday at 8:00 p.m. Venue is the Harmonie at Frongasse 28-30.
Jazz Choir of the University of Bonn, semester end concert “Let’s Do It Now”. Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Endenich at the Trinitatis Curch.
“Handmade Festival – Rock & Pop Classics” on Friday & Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Venue is the Wahtberger Drehwerk 17/19.
