“WorldWired” European tour announced Metallica coming to Cologne in September

Cologne · Good news for all the Metallica fans in the region. The band has announced the dates for its big “WorldWired” European tour, including two shows at the Cologne Lanxess Arena.

On September 14 and 15, the heavy metal rock legends from the American west coast will play in the Lanxess Arena in Cologne.

Pre-sale tickets will be available for “Legacy Met Club” members from March 21 at 10 am. The pre-sale for all “Fifth Members” starts at 11 am. General advance sales begin on March 24. The two Cologne concerts are the only concerts of the tour that are in Germany in 2017. There will be six more in 2018.

Besides the normal tickets, there are “premium” versions, which offer an earlier entry to the arena, a visit to the “Memory Remains” exhibition, a backstage meeting with the band, or limited posters and T-shirts. On the U.S. tour, these types of tickets were available for the “bargain price” of 2,499 USD.
