“The Club” grand opening New nightclub opens in Bonn this weekend
Bonn · Nighttime revelers will welcome another place to visit on the Bonn club scene. With a grand opening Friday night, “The Club” will be open for dancing on weekends. A different concept takes over during the weekdays.
This weekend the Bonn nightlife scene will add one more venue to its roster. In the premises of the former "Dreiraumwohnung" on the street "Am Boeselagerhof", owners Cengiz Cakmak (32) and DJ Robstar (30) introduce their new club into Bonn's nightlife. Their venue will be used as a Shishabar during weekdays. On Fridays and Saturdays, however, the rooms are used exclusively as a club. The idea is to have two different concepts, one for the week and one for the weekend, explained the owners. The venue bears the simple name "The Club". Musically speaking, guests can expect hip hop, R&B and dancehall music.
Cakmak is new to the gastronomy scene. During the week he is managing director of a landscaping company. The idea for the nightclub simply developed over time. The entrepreneur says he wants the club to enhance Bonn's nightlife.
With DJ Robstar, he has brought on board a well-connected business partner from the event scene. In addition to a lot of renovation work, both had worked on the concept for a long time. "Through my contacts, we want to try to bring various nationally and internationally known DJ's to Bonn in order to make the nightlife more attractive again," says the team. Party-goers will not only have free entry on the grand opening weekend, but will also be able to dance for free in the future.
The new nightclub is expected to have a relaxed atmosphere. "All sneakers are welcome and we don't expect a suit and leather shoes. Still, guests should be well-groomed and laid back," says Abraham.
On Friday, 9 November, the grand opening is at 11 pm. Guests will be able to celebrate until the early morning hours. Apart from that, the club will open every Friday and Saturday night from midnight. Admission is free.
