Irritated by music rehearsals and video shoots: Beueler people complain about noise in school

BEUEL. Querbeat, Druckluft and Knallblech are the musical flagships of the Kardinal-Frings-Gymnasium (KFG) in Beuel. Querbeat recently recorded a music video on the roof of her former school. This and frequent rehearsals led to complaints from neighbours complaining about constant noise. However, since the KFG is very interested in a good neighbourhood, Hillen has now set binding rehearsal times for all bands and orchestras at the school. During the week rehearsals are not allowed later than 8 pm and on Saturdays only between 10 am and 1 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm. On Sundays and holidays there will be no more rehearsals.

Crash #1: Car driver flees from the police on three wheels

SIEGBURG. A car driver left a trail of devastation in Siegburg on Saturday morning, after he had first sideswiped several vehicles, lost the right front wheel and then drove on only three wheels through Siegburg, before being stopped by the police. A first alcohol test resulted in a value of 1.5 per mille. The police withdrew immediately his driving licence and seized the vehicle. The car had to be towed away. As the Saint Augustiner also behaved in a suspicious manner, he was admitted to the LVR clinic in Bonn.

Crash #2: Car driver drives in exit Hennef east frontal head-on against tree

HENNEF. A female car driver from Siegen drove head-on against a tree in her small car at the exit Hennef-Ost of the A560 on Saturday evening. She apparently had a good guardian angel when she had crashed her Citroen C1 and was only slightly injured while her car was totalled. The exit was closed until late at night. Since all forces of the motorway police from the region were already called out at the same time - among other incidents to the Porsche accident on the A3 near Königswinter (see below) - the accident in Hennef had to be recorded by police officers from Siegburg and Sankt Augustin.

Crash #3: Porsche races crashes into bridge piers - A3 closed for a long time

KÖNIGSWINTER. After a serious accident on the A3 motorway near Bockeroth, the A3 motorway towards Frankfurt was completely closed until late last night. The driver of a Porsche was seriously injured on Saturday afternoon after he raced against a bridge pier on Autobahn 3 near Bockeroth at about 3.45 p.m.. Several rescue teams and a rescue helicopter were on duty to look after the 66-year-old. The police had completely closed the motorway in the direction of Frankfurt.
