Attacks in Beuel and city centre Robbers attack victims with knife in Bonn

Bonn · Unknown perpetrators in Beuel and Bonn city centre attacked two men in the early hours of Saturday. They threatened their victims with a knife.

They said a stranger first approached the 30-year-old victim around 1.35am on Friedrich-Breuer-Straße in Beuel and asked for a cigarette. Close to the Rewe supermarket there, another man suddenly clasped the 30-year-old from behind and threatened him with a knife. The perpetrators stole a wallet and a mobile phone and then fled with up to three other men towards the Rhine. Police said one of the suspects was wearing dark clothing, a down jacket and a hood on his head.

A 23-year-old was attacked around 2.40am on Sandkaule. According to police, at least two unknown men demanded he hand over cash and threatened their victim with a knife. The young men fled with the 23-year-old’s money towards Bertha-von-Suttner-Platz. They are described as follows: 16 to 20 years old, 1.75 to 1.80 metres tall, wearing hoodies and sweatpants.
