The planning for the twin festival "Rock am Ring" and "Rock im Park" at the beginning of June continues despite the corona crisis and the current contact restrictions. ""Rock am Ring" and "Rock im Park" 2020 will take place as planned according to the current status, and preparations are in full swing", a spokeswoman of the agency Live Nation announced on request. "We are of course monitoring the situation closely and will follow the instructions of the health authorities." The health of artists, fans and staff is the top priority and is at the forefront of all considerations.

The Gemini Festival is scheduled to take place from June 5 to 7 at the Nürburgring in the Eifel and in Nuremberg. Concerts broadcast online without an audience on site are not an option, it was said.

This year's headliners will include the bands Green Day, Volbeat and System Of A Down. "Rock am Ring" is due to celebrate its 35th anniversary in June and "Rock im Park" its 25th anniversary. Both locations have attracted tens of thousands of spectators in each of the past years.
