Bonn · The open-air pool season starts soon. The Hardtbergbad, Ennertbad and Friesdorf open-air pool will open at the start of the Whitsun holidays. The other outdoor pools will first open at the end of May.
Not long to go now: some open-air pools in Bonn will open at the start of the Whitsun holidays. The city announced on Monday that the Hardtbergbad, Ennertbad and Friesdorf open-air pool will open again daily on Friday, 18 May.
However, the Römerbad, the Melbbad and the open air pool in Rüngsdorf will first be ready to open again at the end of May. Work on the pools and showers and technical works are still ongoing there. The pools will open on Thursday, 31 May. The open-air pool season runs until 2 September.
The Frankenbad will remain open until 30 May. The Hardtbergbad closes on 18 May. It will remain available for school lessons until 3 August. After that it will close for four weeks of cleaning and renovation works. Bonn’s indoor pools will re-open on 3 September. The air dome at the Friesdorf pool will then also be erected.
