Stimson Memorial Chapel Summer evening piano concert

Bad Godesberg · Sounds of music will fill the Stimson Memorial Chapel on Wednesday evening. All are invited to hear a summer piano concert with a guest performer who stems from Portugal.

The supporting association of the Stimson Memorial Chapel invites everyone to a summer evening piano concert this Wednesday, July 5 at 7 pm. It will be held in the church on Kennedyallee 150 in Plittersdorf.

Pianist Miguel Sousa currently serves as the accompanist for Texas A&M University Century Singers and the Women’s chorus, situated in College Station, Texas in the U.S. A native of Portugal, he will be playing works from Ravel, Schumann, Mendelssohn, Bartok and other composers.

Sousa obtained a Masters degree in Piano Performance from Central Michigan University and now works at A&M in Texas. He is also music director at the St.Francis Church located there. He is currently touring through Europe and making a stop in Bonn. Admission to the concert is free.
