BONN/REGION · Carnival is already in the air this weekend, but there is also the intense “Wuthering Heights” in English for an alternative, a first dress exchange party, and “Thriller” in Cologne for Michael Jackson fans.

Dress exchange party: The Godesberger Atelier of Caroline Schaefer will be the venue for the first dress exchange party. The idea: Almost every wardrobe hides a garment that is little or not worn at all - but it’s too good to throw away. At the party (5pm on Theodor-Heuss-Straße 11), participants bring a piece from their wardrobe and, together with their team and guests, think about how to rediscover, style and combine it. Or maybe it's time to exchange it. Any left-over clothing will be donated. The proceeds go to a good cause. la luna: Varieté show: Acrobats, street musicians, jugglers - their wild lifestyle inspires la luna. The artistic disciplines in the air and on the ground are interpreted with innovation and spectacularly by the la luna ensemble. Drachenburg Castle Lights: Light artist Wolfgang Flammersfeld brings the castle to life with his illuminations and creates a mystic atmosphere. Experience Schloss Drachenburg and the also illuminated Nibelungenhalle below the castle. From the castle terraces you can enjoy the sparkling lights of Bonn and Cologne. It runs from 26 January to 25 February, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 5 to 10pm. Adults pay nine euros, children over six pay four euros. Immi carnival session: "Jede Jeck is von woanders" , cabaret with stage comedy, international music and a jolly celebration mood. Unique is the multicultural ensemble with artists from all over the world. Last year, the event attracted more than 7,000 spectators. The motto promotes tolerance: Every Jeck is from somewhere else.

Carnival party in La Redoute: The Redoute (Kurfürstenallee 1) will be transformed into a carnival heartland on Saturday, February 10.
