Take-off in Hangelar Zeppelin circled over Bonn and Rhine-Sieg district

BONN · The Zeppelin NT has made the rounds over Bonn and the Rhine-Sieg district over the last few days. The airship has room for 14 passengers.

It is 75 metres long, filled with 7500 cubic metres of helium and has room for 14 passengers. We are talking about the Zeppelin NT, which was seen in the skies over the region and was offering round trips from the airfield at Hangelar over the Siebengebirge or towards Cologne from Monday to Sunday.

Even the motorcyclists, who arrived at their bike camp at the airfield on Saturday, were amazed when the largest passenger airship in the world, powered by two side-mounted swivel propellers and one stern propeller, climbed majestically to lofty heights.

Those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy a view of the Rhine from a cruising altitude of 300 metres in wonderful summer weather could treat themselves to one of these sightseeing flights with the Zeppelin until Sunday. However, the enjoyment was not exactly cheap, as a 50-minute sightseeing flight cost nearly 400 Euros.
