Call–Out to station in Bad Godesberg Passengers suspected men were armed

Bad Godesberg · Because a man had allegedly threatened a train attendant with a weapon, the police were called to Godesberg station on Monday evening. However, it turned out to be a starting gun.

On Tuesday evening there was a call-out to the station in Bad Godesberg because of an alleged weapon. According to the federal police, the man who was on his way to Koblenz in the RE 5 actually had one with him. However, it was a starting gun, which he also transported in a prescribed container.

After the officers had been informed at about 6 p.m., they took the man off the train at Godesberg station and took him to the police station. There they investigated the case and then let the man go. At present, the officers are still investigating what exactly happened on the train and whether the man actually threatened the train attendant.
