80 exhibitors present offers : The GA travel fair takes place on Saturday in the Bad Godesberg Stadthalle

From Oman to the Moselle: on Saturday, 80 exhibitors will present what they have to offer at the GA travel fair in the Bad Godesberg Stadthalle. For the first time this year, the Bonn Stock Exchange will take part in the event.

In Oman, the traveller can follow in the footsteps of incense, Salzburg has a romantic crib trail to offer in the upcoming pre-Christmas period and just because it’s so close, why not take a tour to the Moselle or the Ahr valley. The General Anzeiger travel fair, which takes place for the second time on this Saturday from 11:00 to 17.30 in the town hall in Bad Godesberg (official opening at 10.45), offers insights into the range of available tourist destinations. The focus will not only be on popular and accessible tourist locations and countries, but also on those off the beaten track and less well-known.

For the first time this year, the Bonn Stock Exchange will join the GA event. The regional trade fair for conferences and tourism in Bonn and the region will take part, with 36 exhibitors, including the Bonn Karneval festival committee, the Bönnsch brewery, the Beethoven Anniversary Society and the Museums mile.

With a total of about 80 exhibitors this year, the second travel trade fair has expanded. On the one hand it concerns the cultural lure of India, South Africa, Sweden and the Crimean peninsula, which was shaped by the Russian tsarist rule. On the other, there is something on offer for the disabled who have to consider accessibility when they travel because they need a wheelchair. Moutainbike friends can learn how to travel through Belgium in the footsteps of world champion Roland Stauder. Exhibitors will also present family-friendly tours to ski resorts.

Exhibitors will provide information about what is on offer at stands throughout the whole day and will take turns to focus on specific regions, places and countries in the two lecture rooms, they. Among other topics, Bernd Schwuchow will report on bus tours in Europe and the Western United States (11.30 to 12:00 in lecture room 1), Ralf Poppen will report on Nebra, East Friesland and the Beethoven anniversary trip (15.30 to 16:00). In lecture room 2, Jochen König will talk about Scotland from 12.30 to 13.00, Axel Neuhaus about Albania (15:00 to 15.30) and Ralf Ulbrecht about expeditions to the inhospitable Arctic.

All visitors can participate in a raffle with impressive prizes, which include a to Sicily, a river cruise and over 40 further prizes, which will be drawn at the event in the form of a tombola.
