Bonn The Independent Bonn International School (I.B.I.S.) is hosting two Open Days in October for interested families to have a look behind the scenes at what might be the new school for their children.
On this Thursday, October 1, parents and pupils have the opportunity to gain an insight into the lessons and to take part in a guided tour of the set-up and the modernly equipped school buildings.
Another Open Day is scheduled for October 24
On the Open Days the diverse learning world of the Independent Bonn International School presents itself to the demanding eyes of the guests.
In order to protect the students, staff and guests, this year the school will not be inviting the visitors into the auditorium and will also not be welcoming the guests with music or dance.
In order to keep the numbers of our guests low, the school is offering another open day on Saturday, October 24, from 10am-1pm. The school is sure that this is also in the interest of all participants to deal responsibly with COVID safety requirements.
Special features of the Independent Bonn International School are the versatile school program – from Early Years (Kindergarten) to Years 7/8 (3 to 13 years) – of the English-speaking and state-approved substitute school.
The curricula are based on the National Curriculum for England, Wales and Northern Ireland and also meet the requirements of the German curricula. This facilitates the transition to a German secondary school.
