Bonn · First Tears for Fears and now Sting too. The programme for KunstRasen in Bonn’s Rheinaue this coming summer continues to fill up.
With the British star Sting, Kunst!Rasen has announced a top act for 2019. The pop singer is to perform on 15 July. Advance sales start on 28 November.
The organiser announced on its Facebook page on Tuesday that Sting will perform songs from several decades – from his Police days to current day.
The British synth-pop legends Tears for Fears are coming to Bonn’s KunstRasen on 28 June. Organisers said on Monday that the two musicians would play their greatest hits from their best-of album “Rule the World” as well as two brand new songs.
The German musician Max Giesinger will appear at KunstRasen in Bonn’s Rheinaue on Thursday 27 June said the organisers on Twitter. Giesinger will be a guest in Bonn to perform his new album “Die Reise”. The album will be released in November.
On Friday 16 August, the Kölshband Bap will be playing at KunstRasen. The group made the announcement on Facebook. After the festival in Bonn, the band wants to take a “creative break” before starting a new chapter.
On Friday 9 August 2019, pop singer Michael Patrick Kelly will also appear at the KunstRasen Festival in Bonn’s Rheinaue. Tickets have been available from Bonnticket since 27 October. Kelly became famous as the third youngest member of the award winning pop and folk band The Kelly Family.
A few months ago, an employee of the concert organiser Ernst-Ludwig Hartz confirmed an appearance by Nena on 11 July 2019 to the GA. The pop singer became famous for her song “99 Red Balloons” among others. Nena is stopping in Bonn as part of her “Nichts Versäumt Tour 2019”.
Also taking part is Jethro Tull performed by the singer and multi-talented instrumentalist Ian Anderson. The British progressive rock veterans are part of the classic rock night on 17 August from 5pm.
