July 26 to 28 All about the 24th Beer Exchange in the Rheinaue in Bonn
BONN · The Bonn Beer Exchange returns to the Rheinaue in Bonn once again this year, running Friday through Sunday, July 26 to 28. Lots of thirsty visitors are expected! Further information about the event can be found here.
From July 26 to 28, beer lovers will once again have the opportunity to sample their favorite beverage at an annual event in the Rheinaue park. More than 80 beer distributors from all over Germany will be on hand to offer more than 700 varieties of beer from all over the world at the 24th Bonn Beer Exchange (Bonn Bierbörse). Whether with or without alcohol - from Kölsch of the Rhineland to beers from Croatia and Singapore, all sorts of beer varieties will be available.
The beer exchange traditionally consists of two-thirds beer stands and one-third food stands. So for those who want more than a beer, you can also get a bite to eat. The spacious beer gardens with their cosy atmosphere will welcome visitors to sample beers for three days. But the sampling is not limited to on location only, enthusiasts can also buy bottles to take home and try out.
Opening hours and program
The Bonn Beer Exchange is located in the Rheinaue park (Ludwig-Erhard-Allee, 53175 Bonn) and the event runs all weekend. Numerous visitors are expected from Friday, July 26 through Sunday, July 28, 2019. The organizers guarantee sufficient seating and standing room for all who come. Entrance to the event is free of charge.
The Beer Exchange opens on Friday at 3 pm. On the open-air stage there will be a music act. The official opening of the 24th Bonn Beer Exchange by Lord Mayor Ashok Sridharan will follow at 6 pm. At 8 pm the AC/DC tribute band Dirty Deeds will play. Also on the following days there will be live music. Visitors on Friday can enjoy a glass or two of beer until midnight.
On Saturday, it opens again at 3 pm and is open until midnight. On Sunday, the third and final day, the Beer Exchange is open for nine hours, from 12 noon until 9 pm. Then the Beer Exchange comes to a close for 2019.
